Soma AI Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Soma AI (“the App”), provided by Hephaestus Soft LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use Soma AI.
2. Age Requirement & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use Soma AI. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
3. Important Medical & Health Disclaimer
Soma AI is not a medical device, not a healthcare provider, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Calorie, macro, body-composition, recovery, and fasting outputs are informational estimates generated by AI models and deterministic engines. They carry confidence intervals and may be wrong.
Consult a qualified physician before beginning any diet, fasting protocol, or exercise program — particularly if you are pregnant, managing a medical condition, or taking medication. The App is not equipped to handle medical emergencies: if you experience chest pain, severe distress, symptoms of an eating disorder, or any acute medical event, stop and contact emergency services (e.g., dial 911 in the US) or a licensed healthcare professional immediately.
4. Subscriptions & Purchases
Soma AI offers an auto-renewing Monthly All-Access subscription ($30.00 / month, 7-day free trial) and an Annual All-Access subscription ($240.00 / year), billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and administered by RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your store account settings at any time. A free read-only tier provides access to historical logs. Prices are set in your local currency by the stores.
5. AI Estimates & Accuracy
Vision-based meal analysis, physique assessments, and adaptive recalibrations are probabilistic estimates, presented with calibrated confidence where applicable. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting logged data. We do not guarantee that any target, projection, or training outcome will be achieved, and the engines may adjust your plan automatically as new telemetry arrives.
6. Your Data & Account
You retain ownership of your content. Our handling of health telemetry, physique photos, wearable integrations, and deletion is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the baseline biometrics you provide.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App: no reverse-engineering the models or engines, no scraping or reselling access, no uploading imagery of other people without their consent, no input of knowingly false health data presented as genuine, and no use of the App in violation of applicable law. We may suspend accounts that compromise service integrity or other users.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design systems (Lumina and Obsidian), engines, models, branding, and content, is the property of Hephaestus Soft LLC and its licensors, protected by intellectual-property laws. Your logs and photos remain yours; the software and its outputs-as-a-service remain ours.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hephaestus Soft LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes arising from your use of or inability to use the App. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind except as required by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app (or by email where required) before taking effect, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
