Delete your data
Deletion is free and always available: instantly in the app, or by email for your anonymous server-side records. There are no accounts to close.
Delete local data in the app
FrameMaxx keeps almost everything on your device, so most of your data can be destroyed without contacting anyone:
- 1 Open FrameMaxx and go to Settings from Home.
- 2 Under Privacy, open Delete local data.
- 3 Confirm. Your stored scan result, silhouette outline, plan progress and AI-processing permission are removed from the device immediately, and the app returns to a fresh start.
Stated plainly, as the app states it: this removes the stored result, the front-silhouette outline and the protocol week anchor — nothing else. It does not reset your anonymous device ID, delete server credits, reset the free-scan allowance, or touch purchase entitlements. Deleting the app itself also removes all local data (a device or iCloud backup may still hold a copy).
Request server-side deletion by email
Our servers keep your anonymous credit balance and scan-request receipts, device-key registration and rate-limit history associated with your app ID or device key. RevenueCat holds the purchase-entitlement link. To have these deleted (along with your anonymous analytics identity at PostHog), email us — no app required. Questions about deletion are welcome at the same address.
FrameMaxx has no accounts and no email addresses, so we need something that links you to the records. If you ever purchased, include the order ID from your App Store receipt (or the approximate purchase date and the last scan date). We may ask a short follow-up question to verify the request is yours, then delete the records and confirm by reply — typically within 1–2 business days, complete within 30.
What deletion covers
- Your credit balance and scan-request receipts in the server-side ledger.
- Your device-key registration and rate-limit history associated with your app ID or device key.
- The purchase-entitlement link held with our purchase processor, RevenueCat.
- Your anonymous analytics identity and event history at PostHog.
- Everything on the device (use the in-app flow above).
App-attestation-token counters contain a token hash and timestamps with no app-ID link; they cannot be located from your app ID and remain until the same counter is updated or explicitly deleted. Processor deletions are queued and can trail the request by a short period; records we must keep for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes are kept only as long as required.
What there never is to delete
Your scan photos are processed in memory and FrameMaxx never stores them: not on our servers, not in logs, not in analytics, not in crash reports. There is no photo record to request, and your birth year was checked at the age gate and immediately discarded — it is not stored anywhere. Copies sent to Google for AI diagnosis are covered by the Privacy Policy. See the full Privacy Policy for everything that does and doesn't leave your device.
Before you delete: cancel your subscription
Deleting your records does not cancel an active subscription. To stop future charges, cancel first: Settings app → [your name] → Subscriptions → FrameMaxx (or App Store → your profile → Subscriptions). All billing and refunds are administered by Apple. Deleting your records removes our ability to restore or manage the purchase link afterwards.
